Denise Gerson, who retired in 2012 as Associate Director of the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum, is a highly regarded independent curator, arts writer, private art consultant, and accredited fine art appraiser. Holding a Masters degree in Art History from UM, she is a frequent lecturer, art fair juror, and arts panelist. A past Chairperson of Art in Public Places for the City of Miami Beach, she has conducted VIP tours of Art Basel Miami Beach since its inauguration, offers private art tours both here and abroad, co-chairs the Visual Arts Grant Committee for Miami’s Funding Arts Network (FAN), is a member of Miami-Dade County’s Cultural Affairs Council, and operates DG Fine Art Services.
