Although the activities of Artêria began in early 2005, the company was only truly born under its current name in 2007. Established by Geneviève Lévesque, the gallery developed quickly and since 2009, the company has participated in numerous international events. Stemming from its success in overseas markets, Artêria received numerous prizes for the development of the company.
