Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain (PFOAC) is a private gallery dedicated to presenting the art of today. PFOAC represents multidisciplinary artists who work in a wide range of media. Despite the conceptual, formal and aesthetic differences that distinguish their respective productions, certain thematic threads connect their approaches to art making. In some instances, the artists of the gallery use their art to challenge traditional modes of representation such as the landscape, the portrait, and the still-life. In other cases, the artists are more concerned with exploring diverse social or cultural phenomena. While some of the artists draw attention to the signs and symbols that define the world around us, others evoke those ephemeral or immaterial aspects of life that otherwise defy definitions. Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain is committed to showing artwork that demonstrates critical engagements with contemporary art in all of its forms and complexity.
