With over 30 years in the international Fine Art industry, I’ve built my career around guiding collectors, institutions, and industry professionals in understanding, managing, and preserving art collections of lasting value. My experience spans Art Advisory, Appraisals, and Collection Management for the private high-net-worth client sector.
I began my career as a Fine Art Specialist at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and Sotheby’s, later serving as Director at Russell Bowman Art Advisory, a contemporary gallery and advisory firm. In 2014, I founded my own company, providing tailored Advisory and USPAP-compliant appraisal services to private collectors, fiduciaries, and institutions. From 2018 to 2025, I served as Director of the Midwest region for Bonhams, the London-based international auction house.
Today, I work closely with collectors, fiduciaries, and fellow advisors to guide acquisitions, appraisals, collection management, and legacy planning — ensuring the thoughtful, long-term care of collections.

What do you do in the art world?
I run my own art advising firm to assist clients with the sale and purchase of fine art, collection management services, appraisal and legacy planning.
How did you begin your career in the art world?
I began my career in the art world when I went to art school to become an artist. I was not a very good artist, but I really enjoyed the art history classes. From college, I interned at the Terra Museum of American Art in Chicago and then landed a part-time job in a regional auction house that sold everything! It was then that I knew my passion was the commercial art world.
If you could have dinner with 3 artists from the past- who would they be?
