Oliver founded SRI in 2001 with the mission of providing museum-quality fine art services with a strong concentration in the proper handling of artwork. Beginning his career in investment banking, Oliver brought his financial acumen to the art services business over 30 years ago. He built his deep knowledge of our industry through hands-on work in every department at Crozier Fine Arts before becoming Vice President and evidentially opening SRI. Unlike many Presidents, you won’t find Oliver behind a desk. He is still hands-on, often in our warehouses or planning and executing complex sculptural installations.
Oliver holds a bachelor’s in international business with a minor in art history from Manhattanville College.
Get to Know Me
What do you do in the art world?
I am the owner/founder of SRI Fine Art Services. We are a full-spectrum art handling and storage company serving New York City and the surrounding region.
What are the most challenging aspects of your work?
The challenges are all the unknowns—both in the projects we work on and in navigating the complexities of a large business. The COVID-19-related shutdowns were very challenging, but SRI was able to ride through the crisis and keep all of our employees.
What are the most interesting aspects of your work?
The most interesting aspect of my work is figuring out how to execute complicated installs. I work with a fantastic group of brilliant people, and we all bring something to the table. The solution is there; we just need to uncover it.
