Bettina Huang

Bettina Huang grew up in New York City, where she developed a passion for art at a young age.  She graduated from Brown University in 2006 with a concentration in the History of Art and Architecture and coursework in Economics.  After spending several years working in the Post-War and Contemporary Art department at Christie’s, she left for New York University’s Stern School of Business where she earned her MBA in 2012.  Specializing in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and having written an e-commerce business plan, the experience laid the groundwork for her dedication to consumer start-ups.  Since business school, she has worked exclusively at early-stage businesses, including 4 years spent at Fab.com, where she led merchandising and was a key member of the executive team.  Bettina joined Artsy at the beginning of 2017, contributing her experience in both e-commerce and the art world to lead and grow its Consignments business, Artsy’s solution to making it simple and transparent for people to sell works from their collections.  As a part of her continued dedication to participating in and developing the entrepreneurial community in New York City, she is also a mentor for start-ups at Grand Central Tech.
